Where do you practice: Advanced Massage Healthcare, Inc. (owner) in Lincoln as a part-time sole practitioner
What Massage Modalities do you practice: Therapeutic, Sports, Deep Tissue, and a variety of other Manual Therapy Techniques
How do you spend time outside of work: With the family and good friends, enjoying outdoor activities as much as possible, including hiking, camping and fishing.
How do you promote the massage therapy profession in your community: Personal discussions with family, friends, co-workers, and other healthcare providers; offering recommendations and referrals when appropriate.
In what ways do you participate in your community: I have volunteered time and services for over 30 years to a variety of organizations including professional, church community, and youth sports activities.
Do you have any words of wisdom to share that have helped you in your career:
Continuous Improvement. Reinvent yourself, establish a principle-based lifestyle, and keep learning something new.
Have you ever volunteered your time to the Nebraska Chapter and if so, roughly when and how long were you a volunteer? Since 1996, have held several different volunteer roles for roughly 8 non-consecutive years.
